She has pursued her MBBS from Maulana Azad medical college (1996) and MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Lady Harding Medical College (2001).
Receiving the Dr Pratibha Tiwari Memorial Award for best post graduate student in 2001 and Haskar Prize for best student in 1998-99, she has marked her position in this field.
She has had multiple publications of her work in various journals and has contributed various chapters in textbooks. She is co-author of Textbook of Obstetrics (2nd edition of 2013).In view of her keen interest , she is a lifetime member of many scientific bodies like Federation of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of India (FOGSI), Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Delhi (AOGD), Indian Fertlity Society (IFS), Delhi Gynecological Endoscopists Society (DGES) and Indian Menopause Society (IMS).She has a keen passion for learning and continuously updates her knowledge and skills by undergoing short term training programmes and workshops. She has participated in various CMEs and conferences as faculty and speaker.
